Gili grew up near a British theme park, which definitely set the tone for how she wanted to live. We bumped into her in Mostar, where she was attempting to orchestrate a world record of people cannonballing simultaneously off its famous bridge. We had always imagined Gili lived for thrills; really, she got off on documenting them. 'Go all out or go home' she wrote as the preface to her latest exhibition. We can certainly relate.
